On 15th of August 2023, a new tailoring unit was inaugurated in Pennandur with 5 sewing machines. It's a four months course with 10 students undergoing training at a time. It's a remote village with around 30 hamlets nearby. The tailoring course will be of great help to boost their economic conditions to a certain extent.

The 77th Independence day was celebrated in our Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Matriculation School. Flag was hoisted by Adhyakasa Maharaj of the Math in the presence of students, teachers, parents, monks and devotees. After the flag hoisting the senior students of the school presented the March Past followed by speeches and cultural programs. Prizes were distributed. Adhyaksha Maharaj emphasised the role of students in the development of India. The program ended with the National Anthem and sweets were distributed to all.

On 16th of August 2023, STEM Lab was inaugurated in our school with bhajans and small puja to Holy Trio in presence of monks, CSR Team members Sri Prashant Hegde and Sri Krishnamurthy from Infosys Foundation, teachers and students. After the inauguration, a small meeting was held where the significance of STEM Lab was stressed to the students. CSR Team members were honoured and our gratitude was expressed to them. The meeting ended with Jaikara.

The annual Guru Puja celebrations started with mangalarathi at 5.00 am followed by Bhajans from the boys of our Students Home.
At 8.00 am the decorated Ratham of Shri Guru Maharaj started the procession. The ratham went along the streets of Nattrampalli village and returned to the Math by 12.30 pm.
The Guru Puja public meeting started at 9.00 am with the benediction address from Swami Paramsukhanand Ji Maharaj who spoke about how Sri Ramakrishna has changed the world by showing the spiritual path to the common people. Bhajans were sung by Sri Ramakrishna Hari bhajan group who moved the devotees with their wonderful Naam Sankirtana. Shri Krishna Jagannathan, an eminent speaker inspired the people with his wonderful speech "Bharat and Swami Vivekananda''. About 1500 devotees partook of the noon prasad.
The Afternoon session started at 2:30 p.m. Musical Oration "An Ocean of Mercy on the Banks of Ganga" was performed by Sentamil Warithi K. Dattatreyan and Maha Periyava Bhajan Mandali Group, Coimbatore. People from nearby villages attended the function throughout the day.

On the occasion of Guru Puja festival, Mahabharata Series Lectures were held on 23rd, 24th and 25th of February in the evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Around 80-120 people attended the lecture series on each day. Prasad was served on all the three days.

All the devotees partook of the Prasad in the noon. After Sandhya Aarti special bhajans program by the Chennai music team was organized and the Prasad was distributed among the devotees.

The National Youth Day was celebrated at our Math and nearby schools and localities with eclat and grandeur.
In the morning, the celebrations started off by offering the flowers at the feet of Swami Vivekananda’s statue by our hostel students and some locals.

Around 400 students from as many as 40 schools participated in the various oratorical and essay writing competitions conducted in our Vidyalaya. All the students and staff were fed with lunch prasad at noon. A meeting was held in the afternoon which was presided over by Swami Vimokshananda, President, Ramakrishna Math, Yelagiri. Swami Vimokshanandaji gave away the prizes to the winners of the competition and inspired the students present with the ideas of Swami Vivekananda in his Presidential address.
  
Swamis of our Math participated in National Youth Day celebrations of 4 schools and 2 localities nearby and encouraged them with the message of Swamiji with their speeches.
  
In the evening, T-shirts and lowers were distributed to our hostel students by Swami Vimokshanandaji. The celebrations came to a close with the Aarati and flower offerings to the statue of Swami Vivekananda by hostel students and the monastics.

All the devotees partook of the Prasad in the noon. In the evening 25 tailoring machines were distributed to the needy women. After Sandhya Aarti special bhajans program was organized and the Prasad was distributed among the devotees.
