GADADHAR ABHYUDAYA PRAKALPA (GAP)
This project is named after the childhood name of Sri Ramakrishna, 'Gadadhar'. It is run for the betterment of the underprivileged children, aged 5-12 years, belonging to the slum area of Khetri town. The project caters to the three-fold development of the needy and backward children — physical (through games and exercises, basic training on health and hygiene, periodic health check-ups, provision of nutritive food supplements, etc.), mental (through music, drama, chanting, painting, teaching of universal prayers, meditation and yoga, value education training, etc.), and intellectual (special coaching in academic subjects, etc.).

It is an extension to Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa so that the poor and needy children passing out of GAP can continue their education at least up to the Higher Secondary level. It also offers different activities for the physical, mental, and intellectual development of children in the age group of 12–16 years, for Class VI/VII up to Class X. This program is conducted daily for about 2 to 3 hours (about 25 days a month), in the morning and/or evening. It also provides financial assistance for higher studies to the deserving students passing out of VAP
